Holy Cross Retreat Center is located three miles south of Las Cruces, New Mexico and forty miles north of El Paso, Texas. It is in a country setting situated in a large pecan grove with beautiful and spacious grounds.
The retreat center has 45 hotel type rooms each with private bath. All linens are provided. There are no phones or televisions in the rooms. They are individually air-conditioned and heated. Thirty-eight rooms have three twin beds and five have one double bed. Two rooms have two twin beds and are handicapped accessible. The maximum number to be housed is 100.
Our facilities include a large conference room with a capacity of 100 persons, and three smaller meeting rooms for 40 - 50 persons each. Other areas available include the living room and inner garden patio. The chapel which is fashioned after the kiva of the southwest Pueblo Indians is furnished with southwestern style religious artifacts and altar.
Our dining room can accommodate up to 100. Meals are served buffet style with a variety of home cooked foods, traditional mexican foods as well as our own baked goods. Meal times are at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.
Our fees are based on single, double or triple occupancy of the sleeping rooms, the number of meals you have and use of conference rooms. There is coffee available morning and afternoon at no extra charge. We have some audiovisual equipment which you may reserve for a small fee.
